So you know how everyone's saying the 80's are back? Parachute pants, neon colors... and Brett Michaels? Well, forget about all that. While pretty embarrassing as a whole (we know you had a mullet or a Flock of Seagulls haircut - don't worry, we won't tell), the 1980's taught everyone how to ROCK OUT in a whole new way. Completely Unchained is a Van Halen tribute band that continues to rock even in 2010! Consisting of lead singer Gene Henriksen, guitarist Johnny Roggio, bassist Kevin Humphris, and drummer George Pagonis, Completely Unchained channels Van Halen at its heyday, rocking out to greatest hits like "Jump", "Hot for Teacher", and "Panama". And if you these guys live the life of total rock star excess, hold on - Completely Unchained is all about giving back! They frequently do shows for assorted charities, raising money for causes like breast cancer awareness, among others! Charitable AND a great rock band? That's something everyone can get behind. 106.1 WBLI's Astra is the bomb! She pumps up Tattoo Lou's every chance she can get on her show, and we love her for that. Personally, she gets her ink down at our West Babylon shop. Astra is one very talented girl, and when she makes it bi,g every one at Tattoo Lou's will be rooting her on. Let's just hope she doesn't forget us! This guy can rip up turntables all night long. He is the resident DJ at one of our favorite clubs, Beach Bar in Hampton Bays. Joey is a huge Tattoo Lou's fan - so much so that we even featured him in our Tattoo Lou's newsletter, Volume Four. Besides being a kick-ass DJ, Joe is an all-around great guy. |
